Zetta® is a software fully compatible with SOUND4 devices and software applications The following instructions are applicable all SOUND4 products form factor:
- Standalone
- Virtualized (.CL)
- PCIe cards
1 - In SOUND4 products, to configure the metadata, follow the procedure bellow:
For Zetta® software to communicate with SOUND4 products over a network, the following settings should be applied:
- Mode: TCP Server (the SOUND4 will act as a TCP Server to receive Data from Zetta)
- Port: put in any available TCP Port you want (usually higher than 1024). This port will be the same as Zetta will use to communicate.
- Metadata Script: This is to tell to the SOUND4 which metadata format is expected. Please note that for the .CL version the script loading window is different as it opens first an empty script window where you must load the Zetta Script.
2 - In Zetta®, to configure the metadata, follow the procedure bellow:
- Open the interface, go to the menu Configuration / System.
- In the window select the tab “Live Metadata”.
- Click to the “+” icon in the upper right corner to add a new Live metadata.
- Fill the settings:
- Name (give a name to the settings).
- Live metadata type should be set as Standard.
- Select the station you want to send the metadata from.
- Select the computer you want to process the metadata (make sure this computer will be able to join SOUND4.
- Select either Zetta Full or Zetta Lite format.
- Put 1 in the number of items field.
- The delivery method should be set as TCP.
- Put the IP of SOUND4.
- Put the same TCP port that SOUND4 is using to listen.
- Save it
- Open the startup Manager from the computer that will run this Live Metadata configuration, go to External Section and stop & start the sub section call Live Metadata.
